So you want to know a little bit about me hey?  Well, here goes.

I grew up in Perth, Western Australia, where I went to Nedlands Primary School, and then spent a couple of years at Willetton Primary, after we moved south of the river.  From then on, I went to Rossmoyne Senior High, for whom I played school volleyball and hockey.  (Prior to that I'd played soccer, hockey, and cricket for school or club teams).

Other famous people from Perth : Heath Ledger (Actor), Lash (Band), Megan Gale (Model), Rove McManus (Television / comedian), Leah Haywood (Singer), Julian Prosser (Olympic Volleyballer), and that's without going into too much of my memory!  Great place, Perth!

Our family then moved to Melbourne, where I've been ever since.

What do I enjoy doing?  Being happy.  Being with my friends, being with my better half.  Sport (Competitively, I've played cricket, indoor cricket, ten-pin bowling, table tennis, tennis, soccer, hockey, volleyball, and basketball).  Astronomy.  Science.  I love trying to understand how the world works, or what makes people tick.  I love going for drives, and experiencing different cultures.  So far, I've been to the USA, New Zealand, Malaysia and India.  I'd like to be able to see many other places before the end of my days - hopefully being able to visit every single continent out there!

What do I hate?  That's easy.  People who don't keep their word.  People who are close-minded, including those who are racist, culturalist, sexist, ignorant, think they know all when they don't.  People who lie.  People who are selfish - do things or vote in ways that benefit them, rather than society or humanity as a whole.  People who pay you lip service, tell you things that they never intend on doing or following up on.  It doesn't matter how long I've known a person - 20 minutes or 20 years.  If they don't come up to scratch in these areas, they don't deserve respect.

Those who know me well know that I love to laugh, be happy, and as a result, one of my favourite things to do is to go out and see live comedy - stand up, musical comedy, theatrical comedy - any and all of those.  My favourite time of year in Melbourne is in April - when we have the Melbourne International Comedy Festival... it's fantastic!  Here are some photos of me along with some famous comics!
